At Red Antler, we launch and grow brands. From startups seeking to bring new ideas to life to established companies aiming to retain their category leadership, we help businesses tell the story of why they matter to put them at the center of every tomorrow. We collaborate across disciplines to create and develop dynamic brand worlds for our clients and bring them to life in various ways. From logos to content to color, our work needs to work for where it shows up for our clients, and we're constantly pushing the boundaries of what it is to be a brand.
Our creatives are conceptual thinkers who like exploring, experimenting, trying new things, failing, and trying again. They're plugged into brands today and what's new and interesting in the world. We are looking for an ambitious Motion Design Lead to join our Creative team and partner with best-in-class talent to develop motion graphics and animation for a broad range of clients. You'll work collaboratively across our creative teams and help create a range of brand worlds and digital experiences that span a wide range of touchpoints and industries.
You are a visual communicator. There are concepts and thinking behind your work. You will explore how brands come to life through motion with ideas rooted in strategy.
You like working in a team environment and are excited to partner with your colleagues to help bring brands to life. You are curious to learn more about other creative disciplines and will collaborate across brand, digital, and go-to-market to help activate memorable brand worlds for our clients.
You'll work closely with designers, art directors, creative directors, engineers, and client and project managers to push motion work forward. You will handle everything from sketching and storyboarding to developing final assets for delivery to clients.
You can partner with other creatives, work independently, manage your time, and meet deadlines. You will consistently ensure that the technical side of your work is delivering on our team's and client's needs.
You have 4-5 years of motion experience in a creative or branding agency. You're an expert at crafting compelling motion work that spans a variety of platforms and touchpoints. Whatever your background, you are dedicated to improving your craft and understanding of motion and design. Skills or a curiosity in 3D is a plus.
You are proficient at standard motion programs and eager to learn new and emerging technologies. Your work can range from creating motion concepts for brand work, sizzle reels, social assets, and/or digital.
Prior experience with creating Lottie and Rive files is preferred.
Proficient understanding of type, layouts, and use of color with excellent typography skills. Illustration skills are a plus.
