Community Integration Counselor (Full Time) Job Details Job Location: Keystone - Drums, PA Position Type: Full Time Salary Range: $44,000.00 – $44,000.00 Job Category: Customer Service Description Position Summary: Responsible for applicant recruitment and arrival coordination, and to provide exiting students with transitional support and placement services leading to quality full‑time jobs, military enlistment, or enrollment in higher education or Job Corps advanced training. Identifies and develops Center‑beneficial partnerships that lead to enrollment and/or student placement. Determines and documents student eligibility for Job Corps enrollment according to all PRH requirements. Works cooperatively with Career Technical Training and Career Transition Readiness staff to provide exiting students with comprehensive and individualized case management to identify and remediate students’ transitional needs while ensuring strict confidentiality of sensitive information and integrity of student data. Responsibilities Follow all integrity guidelines and procedures and ensure no manipulation of student data. Ensure Center meets or exceeds DOL/Company performance goals. Conduct comprehensive screening procedures to determine applicants’ eligibility for the Job Corps Program. Secure and evaluate applicants’ behavioral, medical and educational records. Denial of applicant enrollment and referral of applicants to other educational resources. Conduct thorough assessment activities and career counseling during the admissions process. Serve as a Center Liaison to facilitate a seamless enrollment process and early student retention. Work closely with community agencies, employment services, high schools, trade and technical schools and other agencies to inform prospective applicants about the Job Corps program. Develop partnerships with community agencies and local businesses to develop and maintain referral linkages for prospective enrollments and post‑training placement opportunities. Conduct Academy campus tours, pre‑arrival visits and Parent meetings. Establish supportive/mentoring relationships with students during the Career Transition Phase. Provide personalized career counseling and evaluate student performance. Oversee, develop, monitor, and update student transition plans to ensure successful outcome. Produce quality work/assignments in a thorough, timely and accurate manner. Maintain appropriate personal attendance, accountability and work productivity standards. Plan, prioritize and organize assignments to meet established goals and deadlines. Understand and apply job knowledge to effectively complete all required job responsibilities; proactively maintain the skills required to perform job duties. Mentor, monitor and model College and Career Readiness Skills. Provide high‑quality supervision and management for the student population and support and reinforce positive community culture. Provide quality programs and services for individualized student needs; pursue Center improvements, enhancements and promote innovation. Exchange ideas and information, both orally and in writing, in a clear and concise manner and contribute meaningfully to group efforts by offering relevant ideas and knowledge. Effectively articulate thoughts and ideas; identify problems, analyze causes and evaluate appropriate solutions prior to taking or recommending actions. Work in partnership with staff from all departments to ensure effective supervision and services are provided to students. Accept direction and supervision from the Center Director or designee to include assignments to temporarily perform job responsibilities of other departments and positions. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree in human services, psychology, counseling, education, social science, communications, or a closely related field from an accredited school; or Associate’s degree in the same fields from an accredited school and two years’ related experience in youth programs. Must possess a valid in‑State Driver’s License and meet Company insurability requirements. Must live in Lancaster, PA.
