Warehouse Clerk - Flower mound, TX

PDQ Staffing is seeking for a Warehouse Clerk who is responsible for managing the end-to-end shipping process, ensuring that goods are accurately packed, documented, and dispatched to the correct destinations. This role involves coordinating with internal teams and external partners to maintain efficient and accurate shipping operations, while adhering to company policies and industry regulations.

Pay Rate: $19-20hr
Schedule: 8am-5pm

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and process shipments by generating and verifying shipping documents, labels, and packing lists.
Inspect and verify items against shipping orders to ensure accuracy.
Coordinate with carriers and freight companies to schedule pickups and deliveries.
Inventory Management:

Monitor inventory levels and assist in managing stock to ensure timely shipping and fulfillment.
Update and maintain accurate records of shipments, inventory, and returns.
Documentation and Compliance:

Ensure all shipping documents are completed accurately, including bills of lading, customs paperwork, and shipping manifests.
Verify compliance with local, national, and international shipping regulations and standards.
Customer Service:

Address and resolve shipping-related inquiries and issues from customers, vendors, and internal departments.
Provide timely and accurate updates regarding shipment status and delivery schedules.
Quality Control:

Perform quality checks to ensure that products are correctly packed and meet company standards before shipment.
Report any discrepancies, damages, or defects to the relevant departments.
System Management:

Utilize shipping and inventory management software to track shipments, update records, and generate reports.
Maintain an organized filing system for shipping documents and records.
Safety and Maintenance:
Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shipping and receiving areas.

Skills:

Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Familiarity with shipping software and inventory management systems.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
