Job Title: Oracle Product Functional Specialist Level 2 – Order to Cash Area Location: Washington DC (Hybrid) Duration: Long term contract The business system analyst is responsible for solving business problems, business architecture, process optimization, business rules, business cases, business requirements, organizational change (communications), and UAT. 12+ years of experience is required. This role formulates and defines systems scope and objectives based on user needs and a thorough understanding of business systems and industry requirements. Responsibilities: Understand and document current business procedures and identify areas for improvement. Collaborate with internal departments and external resources to plan, design, and implement financial systems solutions. Formulate and define system scope and objectives through research. Transfer business requirements knowledge to application developers. Recommend courses of action based on cogent arguments. Analyze large amounts of information to find salient points. Identify and address changes in business processes. Gather requirements and translate business needs into IT requirements and functional design specifications. Create trust between Business and IT teams. Identify and implement various software solutions. Provide application support for business users. Write conversion, interface, reports, and extension functional design specifications. Support data cleanup, data conversion, and reconciliation activities. Support month-end and year-end activities, including reconciliation. Review design specifications developed by other analysts and provide feedback. Write white papers and solution recommendations as needed. Support testing and conduct training. Configure Oracle Receivables and Project Billing modules. Devise or modify procedures to solve complex problems. Document requirements and translate them into proper system requirements specifications. Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Finance, Business, Accounting, or related field, or The equivalent combination of education and successful work experience (10 years), and CPA Certification is preferred. Qualifications: 12+ years of Business Analyst experience (Required) 12+ years of Software Development Lifecycle experience (Required) 12+ years of requirements gathering and documentation experience (Required) 12+ years of MS Visio/MS Office/PowerPoint experience (Required) 12+ years of Oracle Financials EBS/Cloud Suite experience 12+ years of experience working as an Oracle Functional Subject Matter Expert/SME (Required) 8+ years of experience with month-end and year-end closing and reconciliation in Oracle Public Sector Financials (Required) Expertise within the Oracle Cloud ERP suite, specifically in Receivables and Project Billing (Required) 8+ years of experience providing production support for Oracle EBS/Cloud Application 8+ years of Oracle ERP Cloud Receivables and Project Billing (Required) Experience with Public Sector implementations.
