Become a Certified Nursing Assistant with Essentia Health – No-Cost Training Opportunity!The Essentia Health Northern Pines Care Center team is excited to partner with Advanced Minnesota to offer free Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) training for individuals interested in beginning a rewarding career in healthcare.This program covers the full cost of education and the certification exam required to become a CNA. Participants will also earn income while training by providing indirect care to patients.Program Highlights•No cost for tuition or certification exam•Earn income during training•Hands-on experience in a supportive healthcare environment

Education Qualifications:

This is a Flex position (0.6-0.9) - 24-36hr per week.

Rate of Pay:

• $15.00/hour during training

• CNA wage upon certification, based on Essentia Health Virginia Care Center’s CNA pay scale

As a CNA Trainee, You Will:

• Assist licensed professionals and direct care staff with personal care tasks based on individualized care plans to ensure residents’ comfort.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for residents.
• Assist with meal setup, water pass, and other basic personal care needs.
• Provide activities and exercise opportunities as assigned.
• Support residents with psychosocial needs and emotional well-being.
• Observe and promptly report any changes in residents’ conditions to supervisors.
• Complete all required documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
• Assist with entrance screening and other duties as assigned.
