The Part-Time Student Program is primarily designed to augment the Company’s regular full-time staff and is for students who work in parallel to their school schedule YEAR-ROUND .

Your Responsibilities

As a Part Time Student for JD  Waterloo Works located in Waterloo , IA , you will:

• Supports multiple machining departments in their daily functions

• Assist with perishable tool creation in Tool Data Management (TDM) software

• Audit shopfloor documentation used by machining operators and correct as needed
• Gather, review and analyze information
• Learns and applies company engineering policies and practices

This position is NOT available to students on immigration visas

What Skills You Need

• Ideally you will be pursuing a degree in Engineering/Technology; others may apply
• Must be registered as a full-time student at a local accredited university
• Graduation date of May 2027 or later; others may apply
• Cumulative GPA of 2.8 or higher
• Available to work 12-20 hours weekly during school year
• Available to work 20-40 hours per week during summer
• Must be able to commute to work location in Waterloo, Iowa year-round
