Get to Know Your Team:

• UT Health Quitman offers 25 private rooms, a 24-hour Level IV trauma center and Level III stroke center, surgical suites, advanced diagnostics, swing bed care, cardiopulmonary rehab, on-site physician clinics, and a sleep lab.

Responsibilities

• The individual will provide assistance with monitoring individual patient activity. Patient Safety Attendants assist the patients, their families, and the unit staff in providing timely, customer-oriented services.
• Provides individualized visual monitoring of the patient.
• Assists nursing staff in providing a safe environment.
• Maintains patient confidentiality and protects patient dignity.
• Provides customer-oriented services to help meet the patient's needs

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Obtain SAMA training within 180 days of employment.
• Constant walking, standing, bending, stooping, and pushing and pulling heavy objects.
