The Patient Transporter is an integral part of the patient care team providing prompt, courteous, customer-focused service to the patients, visitors, and coworkers of Boston Medical Center. The Patient Transporter is responsible for patient transport within the hospital and for miscellaneous functions as well. He/she contributes to service excellence by fostering collaboration among and between team members as well as other ancillary departments.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION:
High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
EXPERIENCE:
Previous hospital experience preferred
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS REQUIRED :
BLS/CPR certification required
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
Ability to lift without any limitations
Compensation Range:
$17.40- $25.85This range offers an estimate based on the minimum job qualifications. However, our approach to determining base pay is comprehensive, and a broad range of factors is considered when making an offer. This includes education, experience, and licensure/certifications directly related to position requirements.
