Your Role as a Personal Care Assistant (PCA)

As a PCA, you will provide direct care to our residents, helping them find meaning and purpose in their daily lives. You’ll be part of a dedicated team ensuring that our residents feel comfortable and safe in their home.

Your Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional personal service and daily care to residents.
• Communicate effectively with residents, staff, management, and families.
• Utilize your knowledge of nursing and medical practices.
• Assist with personal hygiene and grooming.
• Respond promptly to call lights and resident needs.
• Support residents in maintaining proper nutrition and document meal intake.
• Know and apply proper first aid techniques.
• Document medication reminders accurately.
• Help maintain a therapeutic environment for residents.
• Encourage resident participation in activities.
• Assist residents in moving to and from activities.
• Provide physical support, including lifting and repositioning residents as needed.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

About You

You are compassionate, dependable, and possess excellent customer service skills. While previous experience in Assisted Living or Memory Care is a plus, we encourage all nurses to apply!

Qualifications

• Strong customer service skills.
• CPR Certified; Nurse Aide Certification is a plus but not required.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
