Our client is a mission-driven nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting their local community through food assistance and hunger relief programs. They are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Philanthropy Database Coordinator to provide essential support during their busy fundraising season.

Job Description:

The Philanthropy Database Coordinator will be responsible for processing and maintaining donation records, managing data imports/exports, and ensuring accuracy within the fundraising database. This is a part-time, in-office role (up to 32 hours/week) through mid-January, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has prior experience working with Raiser’s Edge or Raiser’s Edge NXT .

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately process daily contributions (online, mail, electronic transfers, and gifts of stock) and ensure donor information is current and correct.
• Manage gift adjustments and data imports from multiple fundraising platforms and systems.
• Prepare and distribute daily donation and reconciliation reports.
• Maintain data integrity by performing regular database audits and updates.
• Support the Development team with queries, reports, and special projects as needed.
• Handle high transaction volume efficiently while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience using Raiser’s Edge or Raiser’s Edge NXT is required.
• Prior experience in a nonprofit or development/fundraising environment is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage large data sets accurately.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
