Job Description

Our client, a leading Manufacturing supplier in Niagara Region, Ontario, is currently looking for a full-time permanent Pipefitter-Welder with solid experience in manufacturing sector.

Job: Pipefitter-Welder

Pay: $45-50+ Benefits.

Location: Niagara Region, Ontario

Main Duties

Completes piping and equipment installations
Welds, threads and pipe fits in the shop and in the field
Welds pipe supports to structural steel members
Tests and performs quality control on pipe systems
Maintains equipment so it is available for production when required
Works with contractors on required project activities
Builds and installs required upgrades as defined by engineering
Recommends changes/upgrades to management for implementation

Knowledge Required

Must possess current welder/pipe fitter license (Red Seal)
Applicable welding certifications
Understands use of lifting and hoisting devices chain blocks, etc
Experienced with process and utility piping installations
Layout Experience for pipe routing from P&ID's and/or isometrics
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
