Primary Care Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants

The Primary Care Center at the Joe R. & Teresa Lozano Long School of Medicine at UT Health San Antonio has several openings for Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants at various of our primary care clinics. The positions will hold a faculty appointment of Specialist (Non-Tenure Track).

We are seeking qualified individuals with a strong commitment to patient-centered and innovative team-based primary care. Clinically, applicants will be responsible for supporting the Primary Care Center through patient-centered face-to-face care and telemedicine (which can include On-Demand Urgent Care, video visits, and telephone visits). They should be prepared to manage a wide range of complex problems presenting in primary care, including chronic care and prevention. Inpatient and obstetrics are not required. Resident mentoring and medical student teaching opportunities are available, but not required.
