Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a dedicated and experienced Quality Manager to join our team in Chicago, IL. The Quality Manager will oversee a team of 7 individuals and ensure that our products meet the highest standards of quality and safety. This role requires a hands-on approach and the ability to work onsite 5 days a week, with additional on-call responsibilities as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the quality assurance team, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high performance.
• Develop, implement, and maintain quality control systems and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits of production processes to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and supply chain, to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor and analyze quality performance metrics, preparing reports and presenting findings to senior management.
• Ensure all products meet or exceed customer expectations and regulatory requirements.
• Manage and resolve customer complaints related to product quality, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in quality management practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science or related technical field or a combination of education and extensive industry experience is preferred.
• 3+ years leadership experience in Quality Assurance in a food manufacturing environment
• HACCP certification or PCQI certification
• Extensive knowledge of GFSI, BRC and regulatory requirements
• Previous experience with 3rd party audits

Compensation: $_70,000 to $85,000 per year annual salary. [If client has provided an exact salary, then no need to use a range; also, if the client has provided an hourly rate, then use same hourly language from the Contract/Contract-to-Hire section above.] Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
