Job Description
Responsibilities: Packaging roasted coffee, sample roasting, setting up coffee cuppings and participating in critical tasting of various coffees, delivering orders to wholesale clients, assisting with basic equipment maintenance and troubleshooting. Must be genuinely interested in learning a lot about specialty coffee!
Packaging & Production
Bag, date, and seal roasted coffee.
Sort and package coffee orders for delivery or shipment.
Process shipments of green coffee
Roast and organize coffee samples
Take part in critical analysis of new coffees / QC of existing offerings.
Delivery
Load and organize the delivery van for efficient routes.
Deliver coffee orders to wholesale and retail customers.
Provide excellent customer service by getting to know our clients, checking in with them and relaying feedback to the team.
Additional Duties (Varies as needed)
Receive and process incoming shipments according to protocol.
Assist the Production Roaster with roaster cleaning and maintenance.
Represent Mojo Coffee Roasters at events when necessary.
Take initiative in improving operational efficiency and troubleshooting challenges.
Assist other departments or take on additional duties as required.
The Ideal Candidate:
Has 1+ year of relevant experience (barista and/or roastery experience preferred).
Genuinely interested in learning about coffee, and developing a critical tasting palate.
Embodies teamwork, transparency, and good vibes.
Holds a clean driving record (no violations in the last 5 years).
Has a keen attention to detail and strives for accuracy and efficiency.
Is a high school graduate or equivalent.
Thrives in both independent and team-oriented work environments.
Demonstrates flexibility and adaptability to varied tasks.
Is interested in growing within the specialty coffee industry—this position could lead to growth opportunities for the right candidate.
Takes ownership of the role and seeks to grow in responsibilities.
Can work a schedule between 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM, Monday–Friday.
Is physically capable of bending, lifting, and carrying objects up to 50 pounds.
Handles fast-paced environments calmly and efficiently.
Is open to giving and receiving constructive feedback.

Available shifts and compensation: We have available shifts all days of the week. Compensation is $18.00/hour.
