Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Assist Production Manager and other Supervisors as needed, advise of all inventory & production problems
• Sustain the ability to manage, coach, and communicate with all employees in a professional manner
• Take on and assign responsibilities, develop plans for improvement and execute them, lead by example
• Motivate employees, use critical thinking and common sense when managing & addressing issues
• Monitor employee time punches, schedule vacations, write/perform reviews, hold employees accountable
• Maintain one-piece workflow, make sure job and serial numbers do not get mixed up
• Verify & perform quality checks, ensure process & procedures are followed
• Make sure employees are productive, at workstations on time, begin and end work when scheduled
• Ensure production goals and quality standards are met daily
• Train new personnel and work overtime when needed
• Follow directions from Managers & Human Resources, be proactive and lead department to success
• Maintain a safe, clean and organized work environment, be at your workstation on time daily
• Adhere to all safety rules, have great attendance and give it your all very day

Essential Functions:

• Computer literate, strong communication and good math skills, able to work with Microsoft Office
• Must be 18 years old, high school diploma preferred, detail oriented, automotive/mechanical ability a plus
• Willingness and understanding you will get dirty at times, and may have to work with chemicals
• Skill and ability of working with your hands, manual tools (must provide your own) and other instruments
• Ability to lift 50 pounds, stand & work on your feet for 8+ hours a day and under pressure at times
• Have a Can-Do Attitude, with good time management, communication and decision-making skills
• Self-starting and motivated; believe in teamwork and uphold the ability to always help others
• Adhere to all safety rules, give it your all every day, must have regular, reliable, and predictable attendance
