Summary

The GDOT IT Project Manager (PM) will assist in managing multiple internal and external end-to-end technical projects, documentation, and processes while reinforcing infrastructure and software best practices. The PM will implement process improvements, manage documentation, organize activities, and ensure project follow-through, timeliness, and accuracy.

Location and Experience

Local candidates preferred. (Hybrid work schedule)
Experience with Workday HCM applications highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with project managers, clients, vendors, and engineering teams
• Apply Agile practices within a hybrid organization, using Kanban and Scrum
• Maintain organizational relationships and project visibility through detailed communication
• Prepare for and facilitate meetings, create project charters and kick-off presentations
• Track projects and maintain dashboards using Jira and ServiceNow
• Escalate issues appropriately
• Update project statuses and roadmaps, adhere to standards
• Draft process documentation and identify areas for improvement
• Use project management tools like SharePoint, Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow, Project Online
• Maintain and archive project documentation
• Utilize Outlook effectively for scheduling and alerts
• Document meeting notes for management decision-making
• Ensure effective communication channels within projects

Experience

• 3 to 5 years of project management experience in technology
• Some college or applicable certifications (preferred)
• Proficiency in writing and editing
