Our Company is actively seeking an experienced and highly skilled Real Estate Financial Analyst to join our team at the corporate office situated in vibrant downtown Miami. In this pivotal role, you will collaborate closely with the executive team of our Multifamily Development Division, contributing to the meticulous underwriting of diverse apartment developments, including market rate, workforce housing, and affordable housing projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Modeling
• Populate and continuously update financial models with actual data to assess the financial performance of ongoing and potential investments.
• Collaborate on the preparation of applications to public entities and financial institutions for financing.
• Conduct comprehensive market research to validate economic assumptions embedded in pro forma analyses.
• Perform in-depth rental rate analysis and foster relationships with brokers to gather market insights.
• Identify pertinent economic and general factors that could impact investment and development strategies.
• Construct intricate financial models to assess various property investment exit strategies, encompassing operating costs, revenue projections, and income streams.
Due Diligence
• Participate in acquisition due diligence activities.
• Facilitate physical due diligence processes, encompassing contract review, budget preparation, and coordination with consultants for potential acquisitions.
Corporate Contributions
• Provide support to multiple executives through the creation of financial models and comprehensive analysis.
• Collaborate with Development Associates and Managers to troubleshoot development challenges.
• Extend assistance to various company team members in mastering Excel fundamentals.
• Undertake special projects and analysis for executives, delivering succinct and insightful findings and recommendations to internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements:
• A bachelor's or master's degree in finance, real estate, or a closely related field is essential.
• Mastery of computer software, notably Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Proficiency in advanced Microsoft Excel functions is imperative.
• Exceptional quantitative skills.
• 2-4 years of hands-on experience in Real Estate Finance.
• Familiarity with affordable and workforce housing modeling highly valued.
• Demonstrated ability to work autonomously, showcasing reliability and organizational acumen.
• High level of professionalism, energy, and a positive approach.
• Outstanding customer service skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience with Low Income Housing Tax Credits is a plus
