Job Description

As a Recruiting Coordinator, you will support Plastipak hiring needs by reviewing applicants, conducting phone interviews, coordinating on-site interviews, and performing various other Talent Acquisition duties. You will develop and leverage your skills as a Recruiter to attract qualified candidates and hire talented associates to the Plastipak Jackson Center and Lima manufacturing sites.

You Will:

Review and screen applicants for various manufacturing site roles (Production Technicians, Forklift Operators, etc.)

Coordinate the interview and selection process, as well as successfully secure offers and clear new hires to start.

Leverage a variety of tools to proactively attract candidates, including social media and community channels.

Respond to candidate inquires and clearly communicate with all candidates in a prompt and respectful manner.

Represent Plastipak in the community, participating in events to promote Plastipak as an employer of choice.

Use Workday to facilitate the recruiting process and maintain accurate and compliant records.

Collaborate with the HR team to evaluate and improve talent acquisition processes.

You Have:

High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent

Proven interpersonal skills; through previous recruiting, customer service, call center, or other relevant experience

Desire to learn and develop recruitment skills in a high-volume, manufacturing setting

Ability to learn various recruitment tools and technology, including applicant tracking system (Workday), communication platforms, and social media tools
