Summary

Retail Associates independently ensure that the retail outlet and inventory are neatly organized and attractively displayed.  This position is responsible for making product recommendations and processing forms of payment to include room charges, credit cards and cash for novelty items.  Clerks are the final point of contact for the experience and have the ability to ensure guest satisfaction.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Welcoming and engaging with guests as they enter the store
• Assessing guests needs
• Working with cash registers and processing payments
• Attaining sales goals
• Communicating about sales and promotions
• Using upselling techniques to increase store sales
• Cleaning and restocking the store throughout the day, before opening and after closing

Qualifications

Qualification Requirements:

• Knowledge of Resort Suite – training to be provided
• Basic math skills
• Ability to use a cash register
• Possess a strong level of professionalism while at work
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Patience when dealing with difficult guests

Education and Experience:

• High School Education
• 1 Year Retail Experience preferred
