Edge Realty is a boutique brokerage firm that specializes in retail & office leasing, investment sales and financing in New York City. We are looking for an enthusiastic intern to join our retail leasing team this summer and gain hands-on experience in the commercial real estate industry.

As a Retail Leasing Intern, you will support our leasing team in daily operations, research, and tenant outreach. This internship offers valuable exposure to the real estate leasing process, market analysis, and client relations in a fast-paced environment.

• Conduct market research and analyze retail trends in targeted trade areas
• Assist in preparing marketing materials, proposals, and leasing packages
• Support lease administration tasks including abstracting and data entry
• Assist in updating leasing activity reports and property databases
• Help coordinate property tours, tenant meetings, and broker events
• Participate in internal strategy sessions and learn about deal-making and negotiations
• Shadow leasing professionals during site visits and meetings with prospective tenants

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Business, Finance, Urban Planning, or a related field
• Strong interest in commercial real estate
• Excellent analytical, research, and communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
• Self-starter with a strong work ethic and attention to detail

• Exposure to the leasing process and landlord-tenant negotiations
