Job Details

Position Overview: Structural Drafter, reporting to the Director of Engineering, will utilize Revit to produce project drawings.

Day to Day Responsibilities:

Produce structural design and construction documents in Revit
Create shop drawings for steel fabrication and construction in Revit
Produce plans, sections, elevations, and details to convey structural design and construction information
Create detailed drawings that feed automated welding robots
Gain an understanding of building systems, codes, and construction methods
Promote a collaborative team atmosphere
Work under the direction of the internal architects and engineers
Convert CAD drawings/layouts into Revit
Perform other duties as assigned by direct supervisor
Generate schedules and bill of materials

Required Qualifications:

2+ years structural drafting
REVIT proficiency
BIM drafting technique knowledge
