*Job Description *
We are seeking Labor and Delivery Registered Nurses who will manage the nursing care of individuals and their families during childbirth with deep respect and understanding. This includes attentive monitoring, sensitive implementation of care plans, thoughtful medication administration, and empathetic, clear education. This role emphasizes a supportive and empowering birthing experience, focusing on the overall well-being of both parent and newborn, often with significant autonomous clinical judgment within established guidelines.
*Patient Care & Treatment *
Offer holistic and patient-centered nursing care during childbirth, focusing on the unique needs of individuals and their families with a positive and respectful approach that aligns with the hospital's values. Emphasize support, clear education, and collaborative decision-making to foster a positive birthing experience.
*Collaborative Teamwork *
This role involves working closely with our team to deliver patient-focused services and contribute to the overall well-being of our patients while contributing to a supportive and collaborative work environment.
*Qualifications *
* Current RN licensure to practice in California.
* Degree in Nursing, bachelor's preferred, with two or more years of Labor & Delivery experience
* BLS certification is required and maintained.
* ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification is required and maintained thereafter.
* NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Provider) certification required within 3 months of hire and maintained thereafter.
* PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification required within 3 months of hire and maintained thereafter.
* Ability to read, write, understand and communicate effectively in the English language.
* Must be able to put into practice Service Excellence skills with our patients, families, and co-workers.
