Trident Consulting is seeking a "Robotics Engineer" for one of our clients in “ Cupertino, CA" A global leader in business and technology services.

Role: Robotics Engineer

Location: Cupertino, CA

Duration: Contract

Responsibilities:

• You will be responsible for debugging robotic solutions, including robotic arms and other solutions that are built in-house - Custom robotics systems
• You must know how robotics works and have an understanding of software andhardware.
• Full stack robotics engineer, hardware + software
• You must be familiar with assembling, performing testing QA of the solutions,including final deployment environments, capable testing robots that go from pointA to point B, know the mechanics, how the different parts are connected, and howto operate using the software.
• Industry experience prioritized over research experience
• Industrial experience can be working with robotics arms or mobile robots
• Tasks include the ability to debug the deployed solutions, perform the QA and assistwith debugging issues.
• You will work closely with engineers to assemble. You will not write solutions fromscratch.
• Must know about operating a robotic arm, know how to debug if there is an issue,i.e., power supply, and complete checks to debug the issue.
• You will work with other Robotics Engineers and debug these systems. They will helpto deploy, assemble and test these systems.
• You will run debugging scripts.
• Candidates should be assessed on their ability to debug, troubleshoot, anddevelop solutions beyond just data collection.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience with Industrial experience
• Excellent debugging and troubleshooting experience on software and hardware.
• Proficiency in Multithreading and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
• Understanding how robots operate. You will be trained on these systems, but youmust have experience in debugging systems on robotics or hardware systems.
• Ability to assemble robotic components
• Experience with ROS.
• Python scripting is preferred.
• Masters/PhD grads with hands-on experience that can debug will be considered. Bachelors and 2+ years of experience also.
