$90k-$125k + gas card + company vehicle

Position Overview
The Safety Manager is responsible for developing and implementing safety programs and policies to ensure a safe working environment. This role includes overseeing compliance with safety regulations, conducting safety training, and acting as a liaison between management and employees regarding safety matters.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement safety policies and procedures to comply with OSHA and other regulations.
• Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify hazards and ensure compliance.
• Provide safety training and education to employees and management.
• Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain safety records and reports, and communicate findings to management.
• Coordinate with project managers to ensure safety measures are integrated into project planning and execution.
• Act as a liaison with regulatory agencies and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in safety management, preferably in construction or federal settings.
• Certification as an Asbestos Supervisor, Safety Management, or similar credential preferred
• Knowledge of EM 385, USACE, NFPA 70E, and Construction Quality Management (CQM) preferred
• OSHA 30 and OSHA 500 certifications required.
