We are seeking a dynamic and engaging Community Associate to join our team. Milford is a community-powered magazine that tells real stories, highlights local businesses, and builds neighborhood pride. As our  Sales & Community Advocate , you'll be the face of our magazine — helping connect us with business owners, nonprofit leaders, and community partners across Omaha.

Responsibilities

• Reach out to Omaha-area businesses and nonprofits to sell feature packages
• Set up calls, follow-ups, and guide clients through the onboarding process
• Represent Milford at festivals and community events
• Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting environment within the community space.
• Handle inquiries and resolve any issues or concerns from members promptly and professionally.
• Utilize customer feedback to improve services and member experiences.
• Maintain records and conduct follow-up outreach via email, phone, or in-person visits

Experience

• 1+ years in sales, customer service, outreach, and community development
• Confident communicator and relationship builder
• Organized and self-motivated — able to work independently
• Familiarity with Google Workspace, Monday.com, Slack
• Passion for supporting small businesses and community storytelling
