Salary: $70,000 annually plus bonus and commission

Caa is looking for a vibrant, energetic and organized professional to join our team of ambitious, entrepreneurial-minded individuals as Sales Manager. This candidate is one who strives for more and is satisfied in a fast moving, dynamic environment.

In this role you will oversee and supervise a sales staff of approx. 5-6 people, work to grow the individual market’s customer base, as well as expand our platform within the respective sales area through hiring, training and mentoring new staff.

This candidate must possess innate leadership qualities, strong management and excellent communication skills, excel in maintaining client relationships, have a strategic mindset, is a true problem solver and have a true passion for sharing the benefits our products offer. Ultimately, you will ensure your area of responsibility meets and exceeds the expectations of our business objectives and contributes to our company’s success in the long run.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accomplish sales human resource objectives by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, managing and disciplining employees in assigned districts; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions; planning and reviewing compensation actions; enforcing policies and procedures; Announce, present, and educate sales team of any new or upcoming products; Hold and direct sales meetings; Lead, motivate, acknowledge, and inspire your team to perform beyond expectations

  • Achieves sales operational objectives by contributing sales information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; completing audits; identifying trends; determining sales system improvements; implementing change; create a distinct sales process for sales managers and reps to follow; Manage and supervise sales team to ensure they are on track in achieving sales goals

  • Meets sales financial objectives by forecasting requirements; prepares an annual, quarterly and monthly sales goals; prepares annual, quarterly and monthly budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions; reviews expenses and recommending improvements

  • Establishes sales objectives by creating a sales plan and quota for districts in support of national objectives; Assist sales team between local market initiatives

  • Maintains and expands customer base by counseling district sales representatives; building and maintaining rapport with key customers; identifying new customer opportunities; Delivers sales presentations to key clients in coordination with sales representatives.

  • Develops current market while expanding within the region through lead generation (warm calls, cold calls, emails, networking events, follow up, meetings and closes); understands what is happening in the marketplace at all times and how to deliver appropriate proposals to clients and guidance to sales staff; creates strategic partnerships with local partners (ex. Gov’t officials, economic development boards, etc); Be informed on relevant markets and coinciding target audiences; Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; Meets with key clients, assisting sales representatives with maintaining relationships and negotiating and closing deals.

  • Oversee the production of the annual launch conferences for each project; ensure quality of speakers and strong attendance; oversee sponsorship revenues and ensure goals are attained by team members; pitches national companies for sponsorship of region’s conferences.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum 7-9 years of sales experience
  • Minimum 3-5 years of management experience
  • Self-motivated go-getter in an ever-changing advertising industry

  • Exercise excellent time-management and organizational skills
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
  • Familiarity with CRM software
  • Computer literate and proficient using G-Suite
  • Experience forecasting sales and building a customer base
  • Persistent, unyielding, and results driven
