We’re seeking an SAP Business Intelligence Reporting Analyst to join our team in a pivotal role that supports the evolution of our analytics and reporting infrastructure into the Azure cloud environment. In this position, you'll help drive the shift from traditional reporting platforms to advanced SAP embedded analytics, S/4HANA, and Azure capabilities. The role involves designing and delivering Power BI and Azure Synapse solutions powered by data from SAP S/4HANA, all aligned with our enterprise-wide cloud-based reporting strategy.

*This hybrid position (2 days onsite, 3 days remote) is based in Fort Collins, CO or Niles, IL.*

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:

• Develop and maintain an enterprise-level data warehouse while integrating business intelligence tools.
• Build reporting and dashboard solutions that follow data modeling and source-to-target mapping best practices.
• Serve as an internal expert in IT systems, data architecture, and enterprise reporting tools.
• Deliver intuitive, high-performance dashboards, KPIs, scorecards, and other BI solutions that support business decision-making.
• Support and refine the data warehouse architecture to align with organizational goals.
• Follow structured development practices, ensuring documentation across all phases of application delivery—from analysis and design to testing and implementation.
• Coordinate system changes by following IT change management procedures including impact analysis, stakeholder communication, training support, and rollback planning.
• Conduct regular updates and maintenance on BI applications including patches, upgrades, and enhancements.
• Provide operational support for BI systems, including incident management, issue diagnosis, and stakeholder communication.
• Maintain and enforce data security standards to safeguard company information and ensure compliance.
• Share technical expertise through documentation, training, and participation in knowledge-sharing initiatives.

What You Bring to the Role:

• A bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in a related field is preferred.
• 5-10 years of experience in application development, including program writing, testing, and debugging.
• Strong background in data warehouse design, database modeling, performance tuning, and data integration.
• Hands-on experience with HANA modeling—working with calculation views, CDS views, table functions, SQL-based logic, and HANA scripting.
• Skilled in sourcing data from SAP ECC and S/4HANA using CDS views and ODP extractors.
• Deep familiarity with Microsoft Azure technologies including Azure SQL DB, Azure SQL Data Warehouse, Azure Synapse Analytics, Data Factory, and Data Lake Storage.
• Proven experience building and deploying Power BI solutions within an Azure ecosystem.
• Proficient in documentation and use of industry-standard data warehousing and BI methodologies, including solution architecture and design.
• Preferred experience with Business Objects tools, particularly Web Intelligence.
• Familiarity with multi-dimensional databases and the creation of calculated metrics and KPIs is a plus.
