Role: School Cleaner

Pay Rate: Starting from USD $14.00/Hr.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct janitorial tasks within assigned areas to ensure quality standards and safety guidelines are met.
• Utilize protective gear during all cleaning functions.
• Complete cleaning assignments promptly and efficiently.
• Report equipment and supply needs or malfunctions to management.
• Dust mop and damp mop floors in classrooms and common areas.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, classrooms, and shared spaces.
• Dispose of trash, empty wastebaskets, and perform related tasks as necessary.
• Respond quickly to paging system alerts and customer requests.
• Follow infection control and universal precautions to maintain sanitation standards.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior custodial/janitorial experience in a school setting is preferred.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
• Willingness to perform routine tasks consistently.
• Capable of completing all responsibilities independently post-training.
• Punctuality and reliability for scheduled shifts are essential.
• Able to stand and walk for 6-8 hours daily.
• Must be able to lift/carry and push/pull up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable working around food and cleaning products.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies as required by state, local, and/or customers.
• Must provide a criminal background check.
