POSITION SUMMARY

Elektrofi is seeking a motivated individual to join our biotech company as a Scientist I to support the development of the novel Elektrofi formulation platform. The individual will join a growing, multidisciplinary team of scientists/engineers and industry professionals.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

· Develop and qualify phase-appropriate methods for molecular and higher order structure characterization and release testing of drug products

· Develop methods to characterize and support internal development efforts for the Elektrofi microparticle formulation technology

· Interface with collaborators, contract research organizations (CROs), and contract development/manufacturing organizations (CDMOs) to facilitate method transfer and method qualification activities

· Author SOPs, technical reports, certificates of analysis, and CMC sections of regulatory filings

· Serve as a subject matter expert and aid in the investigation of out of specification or out of trend analytical results

· Plan, execute, document and analyze experiments, and present results thereof to a multidisciplinary team

Requirements:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• PhD with 0+ years or MS with 2+ years or BS with 4+ years of relevant experience in Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field. PhD preferred.

• Prior biotech or pharma industry experience in analytical, formulation and/or process development preferred

• Thorough knowledge of method development and characterization of protein therapeutics using various analytical techniques, including liquid chromatography (HPLC/UPLC, LC-MS) and capillary electrophoresis (CE-SDS, cIEF)

• Excellent critical thinking abilities plus exceptional verbal and written communication skills

• Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, collaborative R&D environment

• Experience representing analytical development on CMC project teams is a plus

• Good attention to detail and the ability to thoroughly document experimental work with electronic laboratory notebooks (ELN)

• Familiarity with standard office software (MS Office, Teams, SharePoint)
