As a Security Professional - Access Control - Residential Site in Odessa, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential and more .

As an Access Control Officer in a residential community, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a welcoming environment for residents and visitors. Your presence and attention to detail contribute to a sense of order, while your strong communication and customer service skills support positive interactions. You will be part of a team that values agility, reliability, and innovation, always putting people first and acting with integrity in every situation.

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeMon03:00 PM - 11:00 PMSun03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service to residents and guests by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the residential community and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Monitor access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain a secure environment for residents and visitors.
  • Document and report any unusual activities, incidents, or maintenance issues observed during patrols or while monitoring access.
  • Communicate clearly and courteously with residents, guests, and staff to address questions or concerns related to access control and security-related matters.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Florida Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
  • A valid guard card or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
