Senior Epic Application Analyst at Intermountain Health in Boise, Idaho, United States Job Description Job Description: Evaluates, designs, tests, implements, upgrades, supports and maintains assigned applications. + Analyzes and documents user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate or improve existing systems. Reviews system capabilities, workflow, and scheduling limitations. + Documents workflows, configure and/or build activities, change management adherence, end user notifications, training information and status reporting in the appropriate system. + Develops, documents and revises system design procedures, test procedures, and quality standards. + Expands or modifies system to serve new purposes or improve work flow. Coordinates and links the application within an organization to increase compatibility for information sharing. + Reviews and analyzes the system and performance indicators to locate problems, and correct errors. Escalates problems and issues to appropriate staff to ensure timely resolution. + Manages small to medium application projects. Manages projects, schedules and facilitates meetings as necessary to complete assignments. + Mentors Application Analysts to improve their skills and prepare them for more responsibility. Serves as a technical expert in the assigned applications for users, other team members, vendors and management. Serves as the subject matter expert in the assigned applications for system design and workflow modifications. + Promotes mission, vision, and values of Intermountain Health, and abides by service behavior standards. + Performs other duties as assigned Required: + High School Diploma or equivalent required. + Epic Certification for the area in which you support. + Obtaining additional Proficiency or Certification related to assigned modules may be required based on department's operational need and at manager discretion. + Three (3) years of experience in healthcare, technology or related field is required. Preferred: + Previous work experience as a high level/super user preferred. + Experience with Epic - Cadence and or Grand Central and or Prelude.
