Job Description

Description The Opportunity The Senior Systems Integrator is responsible for programming and commissioning control systems that bring together multiple sub-systems to meet the operational and regulatory needs of the owner. The Senior Systems Integrator will be able to design, develop and implement logic for complex project tasks. Day-to-day responsibilities include client and contractor coordination and logic development and testing. The Senior Systems Integrator will ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. The Senior Systems Integrator will oversee less experienced staff and reports to a Technical Manager or Engineering Supervisor in the department. What You'll Do Fully engage with clients in the Renewable Energy industry PLC/HMI/SCADA program development and testing Creation of technical documentation (control logic, test procedures, user manuals, etc.) Exposure to creating SCADA Standards is an asset. HMI/SCADA programming with one or more of the following platforms: Ignition Wonderware Kepware/Topserver On-site commissioning and start-up Establish and maintain schedules and provide timely progress reports and project status updates Take ownership of personal and project quality and coaches/mentors others Maintains positive client relationships, responsive both internally and externally, very frequent client interaction Responsible for completing tasks and projects in allotted time What We Expect from You Two year technical degree Minimum 8 + years Industrial Control System, Integration of Robotics Systems, or programming experience in a related field Renewable energy industry exposure - Wind, PV, BESS Demonstrated proficiency and working knowledge of communication protocols (DNP3, Modbus, etc.) and internet network architectures Effectively uses common, discipline-specific software and helps others use it as well Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines by setting priorities Demonstrates excellent verbal/written communication, time management, interpersonal and organizational skills with the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, management and clients Gains knowledge by attending technical training sessions or conferences and shares knowledge through technical reports or presenting interesting, relevant topics to the team Able to read and create engineering design drawings, including communication diagrams, logic diagrams, and network schematics Proven experience in Microsoft Software Applications (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, SQL, Access) Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and organizational skills Willing to travel 25-35% of the time Valid driver's license and ability to meet company driving standards Must have permanent authorization to work in US As you consider applying for a position at Ulteig, we encourage you to think outside the box - because we do!
