As our Senior Textile Designer, you will shape the creative direction of our bedding and soft‑home lines by both designing in‑house and curating work from a network of freelance designers, licensors, vendors, and partner studios. In addition to product creation, you will help merchandise the line on our e‑commerce site and in our trade showroom, safeguard the visual and verbal integrity of each brand touch‑point, and keep our teams ahead of trend with sharp, data‑driven research.

• Create or coordinate designs for bedding, pillows, throws, and accessories—selecting the right freelance designers, licensors, or vendors when outside expertise will elevate the result.
• Lead trend intelligence: conduct continuous online research, attend key trade shows/markets to work with customers, and compile quarterly insights decks that translate macro trends into actionable line‑plan direction.
• Build and present seasonal concept boards, color palettes, and fabric stories to leadership and cross‑functional partners.
• Generate clear, detailed tech packs and maintain sample / swatch archives to keep projects on track.
• Communicate daily with overseas and domestic suppliers to secure accurate and timely samples, strike‑offs, and on‑time approvals.
• Assist with line‑merchandising, including planning and maintain product hierarchy, imagery, copy, and visual storytelling on our website.
• Partner with the sales & showroom team to craft cohesive, high‑impact vignettes for markets and customer visits.
• Harness AI for speed and insight—from rapid concept visualization and color‑way testing to automated competitive scanning—while championing new AI tools and best practices across the Creative Team.
• Guard our brand DNA—reviewing web content, packaging, and marketing assets to ensure visuals, copy tone, and material specs consistently reflect our brands’ unique aesthetics.
  

• Bachelor’s degree in Textile Design, Surface Design, or a related field.
• 7+ years of progressive experience in home textiles, including directing or mentoring other creatives and collaborating with external studios.
• Expertise in Adobe CC (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and familiarity with 3D/AI concepting tools.
• Deep knowledge of fabric constructions, print techniques, and manufacturing processes—plus a track record of translating trend insights into financially successful assortments.
• Strong visual‑merchandising instincts and experience optimizing product pages or physical displays for sales conversion.
• Polished presentation, storytelling, and cross‑functional communication skills; comfortable selling ideas to senior leadership and suppliers alike.
• A self‑starter mindset—able to balance hands‑on design work with strategic, big‑picture thinking in a fast‑paced, high‑growth environment.
• Portfolio showcasing original designs and examples of partnered or licensed work that demonstrate your ability to curate, refine, and commercialize diverse aesthetics.
