Job Overview:
We are looking for an
SEO Specialist to help grow our online visibility and drive targeted traffic to our websites. You will play a key role in improving search engine rankings, developing keyword strategies, and optimizing content for maximum reach and engagement. This is a
remote, full-time contractor role with flexible hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct keyword research and develop strategies for website pages, blogs, and landing pages.
- Perform on-page SEO optimizations (meta tags, headers, internal linking, image alt text, etc.).
- Analyze website performance using tools like Google Analytics , Search Console , and SEMrush .
- Optimize existing content for better search rankings and identify new content opportunities.
- Develop and implement link-building strategies.
- Monitor and report on SEO KPIs (traffic, ranking, CTR, bounce rate, etc.).
- Collaborate with the content team to ensure SEO best practices are followed in all content creation.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO trends and algorithm updates from Google and other search engines.
- Provide monthly reports with insights and actionable recommendations.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of SEO experience (preferably for B2B or tech-related websites).
- Strong knowledge of Google Search algorithms , ranking factors, and SEO tools (e.g., SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz).
- Experience with Google Analytics , Google Search Console , and other tracking platforms.
- Familiar with WordPress or other content management systems.
- Basic understanding of HTML/CSS is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent analytical skills.
- Good communication skills (written and verbal in English).
Nice to Have:
- Experience optimizing for local SEO or international SEO .
- Background in content writing or collaboration with content teams.
- Familiarity with technical SEO (site speed, mobile optimization, structured data).
