As a Senior Lead Architect, Governance Specialist at JPMorgan Chase within the Compute Platforms and Network Services, you are an integral part of a team that works to develop high-quality architecture solutions for various software applications and platforms products. You drive significant business impact and help shape the target state architecture through your capabilities in multiple architecture domains.

Job responsibilities

  • Provide expert guidance on governance-related tasks and activities.
  • Run the architectural governance process analyzing systems for compliance, providing guidance on governance-related tasks, and maintaining stakeholder relationships with a focus on governance.
  • Identify and anticipate dependencies with other teams to ensure governance aligns with business requirements.
  • Maintain stakeholder relationships and ensure your work complies with governance standards, service level agreements, and business requirements.
  • Contribute to a culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect, supporting diverse representation within the team.

 

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Formal training or certification on Architecture of Governance practices and 5+ years applied experience
  • Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
  • Proficient in automation and continuous improvement methods with a governance perspective.
  • Proficient in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle, emphasizing governance.
  • Understanding of financial services industry and its specific governance and compliance requirements. 
  • Requires technical expertise, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of governance frameworks.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Past experience working at code, or infrastructure level, desired.
