UPMC Altoona is currently seeking a full time Stroke Coordinator to support our Stroke Program! This position will also have oversight at our UPMC Bedford location.
\nThe Stroke Coordinator collects and reports data for the stroke patient population in monitoring and providing feedback to medical and nursing staff. Performs audits from medical records, computerized data, observations, and other methods. Acts as a liaison and educator to UPMC Neuroscience staff as well as multiple referral centers and EMS agencies.

Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:
\n*Current licensure either in the state where the facility is located or, if the facility is in a state covered by the multistate Nursing Licensure Compact (NLC) agreement, a multistate license issued by a participating NLC state. Hires and current employees working on an out-of-state NLC license who later change their residency to the state where the facility is also located will have 60 days upon changing their residency to apply for licensure within that state.
