Position: Director Supply Chain/Operations

Location: Branchburg, NJ

Salary: $175K - $225K

Growing manufacturing company seeks a Director of Supplu chain to join their Team!

Key Responsibilities:

• Plans, organizes, directs, controls, coordinates, and implements strategy related to inventory control, and planning/scheduling/procurement functions.
• Organizes, supervises, and directs the work of materials purchasing and warehouse personnel.
• Develops, prepares, and improves processes, procedures and instructions regarding planning, direct material purchasing and warehousing systems and procedures.
• Lead the process which identifies and communicates parts/material status including shortages - resolves material problems to minimize downtime and operational delays.
• Drives continuous improvement. Identifies, plans and executes major improvement projects - develops and conducts training on proper procedures, as required.
• Lead the operational side of ERP reimplementation, partnering with IT, CFO & and business stakeholders.
• Serve as the operations power user and subject matter expert (SME) for Macola ERP functionality and business process alignment.
• Implement an MRP process within our ERP system.
• Responsible for the annual full physical inventory of the NJ/PA warehouses. Develop a plan to implement inventory cycle counts to then eliminate the annual count.
• Map and improve core workflows inventory management, invoicing and production planning.
• Implement, direct, improve project management processes.
• Coordinate test company and final system configuration, data migration, and testing efforts.
• Identify process inefficiencies and collaborate across departments to implement ERP-driven improvements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s in Business, Industrial Engineering, or related field
• 15+ years in planning/logistics; 7+ in operations with ERP focus
• 3+ years leading ERP implementations (Macola preferred)
• APICS/CPIM certification a plus
• ISO-9000, Lean, 5S, or Six Sigma exposure
• Warehouse Management and Shop Floor Control experience
