Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Swimming Pool Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for repairing and servicing residential and commercial swimming pools and related equipment. This includes equipment diagnostics, plumbing and mechanical repairs. The position is a seasonal full-time seasonal with the expectation to
Key Responsibilities:
Inspect and maintain pool equipment including pumps, filters, heaters, chlorinators, and automation systems.
Diagnose and repair mechanical issues related to pool systems.
Identify and report major repair needs or hazards.
Maintain accurate records of services performed
Adhere to safety and environmental regulations.
Drive company vehicle to service locations (valid driver's license required).
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Prior experience in pool service & installation preferred.
Knowledge of pool equipment (eg. pumps, filters, heaters, chlorinators, automation systems) and common repair practices.
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Physical ability to lift heavy equipment, kneel, bend, and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Preferred Qualifications:
Basic knowledge of plumbing and electrical pool systems is a plus.
Understanding of pool chemistry (eg. balancing pH, chlorine levels, etc,)
Experience building vinyl, fibreglass and concrete pools
Familiarity with tiling swimming pools
Job Details:
Full-time, seasonal position (typically beginning of April to end of October) with the opportunity for year-round employment based on need.
