Job Description

Our client, a leader in precision manufacturing, is seeking a Swiss Machinist to join their team. As a Swiss Machinist, you will be part of the manufacturing department supporting a dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to quality which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Swiss Machinist

Location: Longwood, FL

Pay Range: Starting at $26+ per hour, depending on experience

What's the Job?

• Load and unload raw materials for machining processes.
• Utilize gages and measuring instruments to ensure precision and meet tolerance requirements.
• Reduce setup and machining time through innovative process improvements.
• Inspect completed work for conformance to specifications using various measuring tools.
• Perform daily and preventative maintenance on company equipment to ensure optimal performance.

What's Needed?

• 2-5 years of CNC Swiss Machine experience.
• Proficiency in reading and understanding mechanical drawings.
• Strong knowledge of various CNC controls and M and G code.
• Ability to set up and operate Swiss lathes with minimal assistance.
• Attention to detail and quality, with the ability to perform mathematical calculations.
