How you'll contribute

  • Conducts individual and group therapy sessions to educate patients regarding psychological, emotional, or substance abuse problems
  • Displays active involvement in treatment planning process
  • Displays active involvement in the discharge, transition, and after-care planning treatment process
  • As therapeutically necessary, family session counseling provides to patients to ensure appropriate communication and involvement of family members and support groups
  • Actively communicates with clients, families, and outside referral sources, functioning within the scope of HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2

Qualifications and requirements:

  • Education: Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, or equivalent required.
  • License: Current clinical or social work license as required by state regulations.
  • Certifications: CPR and De-escalation certification required or obtain within 30 days of hire.
  • Prior experience with psychiatric and chemical dependency patients.
  • For adolescent IOP-must be able to pass DCS background check
