Our systems have ensured the safety and performance of countless products that we use in our daily lives from the cars we drive to the air conditioners in our houses, the pacemakers in our bodies, and the satellites we launch into space.

We are looking for a detail-oriented person fully skilled in TIG welding from small “ornamental” type welding to structural welding, certification is not required but is welcomed. Also skilled in MIG structural welding for machine frames. The candidate should be well motivated and have the ability to work with minimal supervision, with at least 3 years of prior experience desired.

Responsibilities

• Create material cut lists from drawings.
• Weld stainless steel thin wall tubing at low amperages
• Weld stainless steel plate material at higher amperages
• Weld CRS tube frames and machine supports
• Ability to weld in all positions.
• Select proper materials and equipment required
• Visual inspections of completed work
• Adhere to all safety procedures and policies

Requirements

• Perform welding based on approved specifications and drawings
• Process welded component parts utilizing machinery such as mills, lathes, sanders, grinders, and saws.
• Skilled in positioning and clamping workpieces prior to welding
• Knowledgeable in the use of proper alloy filler metals
• Some heavy lifting will be required
