RESPONSIBILITIES

Fabrication and TIG Welding bicycle frames with high efficiency and detail. Follow existing procedures or opportunities for streamlining activities to meet production demand. This position also requires supply management and maintenance of equipment.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Lean Manufacturing – inventory methods and practices for maximizing efficiency. 
• Understanding of TIG Welding equipment and procedures.
• Ability to prioritize tasks
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Strong communication skills, with ability to work well in groups or independently.
• Detail oriented 

  EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE 

• Ability to understand basic mechanical and manufacturing techniques.
• Previous experience in TIG Welding.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing setting.

  LANGUAGE SKILLS 

• Effectively communicate and understand job instructions both verbally and written in the English language.
• Ability to effectively interpret and translate instructions to other employees in a professional and respectful manner.

   PHYSICAL DEMANDS 

• The qualified candidate will be required to work up to an 8-hour shift, which would include, sitting, standing, walking, and/or lifting of 20-50 pounds, twisting, bending, pulling, and otherwise physically active in a warehouse environment that is moderately temperature controlled.

  WORK ENVIRONMENT 

• The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to high.
