TruBlue of Centennial-Parker is a Home Ally Service company dedicated to providing premium handyman services with bonded and insured technicians, giving our customers peace of mind. Our mission is to help people maintain the safety and value of their homes by offering handyman services, home assessments, and regular maintenance. We are searching for a reliable home technician (handyman/handywoman) to provide general home services to our customers in our community. We want to hear from you if you have five or more years of paid experience in general carpentry and handyman work.
We are looking for a seasoned Tile Setter with the following experience:
Job Responsibilities
- Cut tiles and shape them properly to ensure they fit around obstacles and in tight corners and odd spaces using power and hand tools
- Form tile beds using concrete, plaster, mastic, cement, glue or mortar utilizing tools such as screeds, brushes and trowels
- Align tiles and straighten them with straightedges, levels and squares to ensure patterns are even and precise
- Cut, install, polish and surface granite and marble and ensure accuracy during the installation process for lasting results
- Prepare various surfaces for tiling with waterproofing material or lath and by cleaning the surfaces properly
- Create decorative wall and floor designs by laying and setting mosaic tiles in kitchens, bathrooms and living rooms
- Tap tiles into place carefully using tools to properly adhere tiles to the base, making sure not to break or damage tiles
- Follow blueprints precisely and mark and measure surfaces that need to be tiled to determine how to go about jobs

- Excellent customer service skills
Preferred - High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience setting tiles
- Carpentry and renovation experience a plus

The appropriate candidate for the Home Technician / Tile Setter position will be proficient all appropriate knowledge of tile work and ideally in miscellaneous around-the-house type repairs like carpentry, basic plumbing, drywall, painting, and basic electrical. Candidates do not need to be licensed tradesmen, but those candidates are welcome to apply.
Qualified candidates will need a driver's license, a reliable vehicle, and standard tools. Candidate must also speak fluent English and be a legal citizen of the US.
