What does a AAA Travel Consultant do? Sells international and domestic travel packages, including cruises, land packages, itineraries, air, car rentals, and hotels. Shares knowledge and expertise from personal experiences and educational trips. Builds long-term relationships with members, encouraging referrals and repeat business. Makes tailored recommendations to enhance the trip experience beyond expectations. Cross-sells relevant products like AAA Member Rewards Credit Card and identifies theft referrals. This role offers a career path with opportunities for leadership. As you grow, your skills in sales, customer service, administration, and goal achievement will be evaluated for further advancement. Successful performance may lead to managerial roles. Extensive training is provided through The Auto Club University. Recognition programs include trips, cash prizes, and incentives. Completion of our Travel Consultant Trainee program, which involves some travel for training. Driven by sales and exceeding goals. Computer savvy, able to navigate multiple systems, use Microsoft Office, and type at least 30 WPM. Organized and comfortable with paperwork. Our Travel Consultants start with an hourly rate of $23.50. After training, those meeting sales goals earn between $67,300 and $82,300 annually, with uncapped incentives.
