\n\nJob Details:
\n• Work 12-hour night shifts, 3 shifts per week (3x12s)
\n• 13-week assignment duration with ASAP start date
\n• Work in fast-paced emergency department with 65,000 annual visits
\n• Care for patients across the lifespan from neonate to geriatric
\n• Work with 36 beds including 8 express care beds
\n• 6 weekend shifts required per 6-week schedule
\n• 3 years of nursing experience required
\n• Must have active Virginia license or Compact license in hand at submission
\n• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS
\n• TNCC preferred but not required (trauma center experience acceptable alternative)
\n• EPIC charting system experience preferred
\n• Must attend EPIC training class (accelerated or 2-day option)
\n• Skills include: arterial line management, central line care, IV vasopressors, procedural sedation, triage, ventilated patients, and dysrhythmia management
\n• Flu vaccine required during flu season (October 1st - March 31st)
\n• COVID-19 vaccine required with medical/religious exemptions only
\n• Smoke/nicotine free facility
\n• Up to 7 hours of non-billable modules required during orientation

The facility is recognized as a certified comprehensive stroke center with 24/7 interventional cardiology services. The emergency department maintains high standards of care and provides advanced trauma services to the community, supporting a wide range of emergency medical needs from routine care to complex trauma cases.
