Education and Experience293161\n RN-EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT\n\nDESCRIPTION:\n\nEducation and Experience\n\nGraduation from an accredited school of nursing required.\n\nAcute care registered nurse experience preferred.\n\nMinimum of one year of RN experience preferred for specialty nursing departments.\n\nLicensure and Certification\n\nCurrent Washington State Registered Nurse (RN) license required.\n\nHealthcare Provider (HCP) level Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire (American Heart Association or equivalent).\n\nSkills and Competencies\n\nStrong clinical assessment and patient care skills.\n\nEffective critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.\n\nAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.\n\nCrisis management skills.\n\nAbility to provide compassionate care to patients across the age continuum.\n\nProficiency with department-specific equipment and technology.
