Overview
American Consultants is seeking two Travel or Local ICU RN to join our team. This position is ideal for registered nurses with a passion for critical care and the ability to adapt to various healthcare settings. The successful candidate will provide high-quality patient care in intensive care units, ensuring that patients receive the best possible treatment during their stay.

Assignment Details:

• Contract Length: 13 weeks (extensions available)
• Shift: Nights/3x12's. No call and Every other weekend
• Hours: 36 hours per week
• Start Date: ASAP
• Pay: Travel rate-$2,310.68 Local-$60.00 an hour

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU setting.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, including vital signs and medical history.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
• Utilize EMR systems such as Epic or Cerner for accurate medical documentation and patient records.
• Perform advanced nursing procedures, including IV infusion, catheterization, and airway management.
• Provide education and support to patients and families regarding treatment plans and health management.
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and NCQA standards in all patient interactions.

Experience
Candidates should possess a strong background in critical care nursing with experience in various settings. Preferred qualifications include:

• ICU experience for at least 1 year
• RN License
• AHA BLS
• AHA ACLS
