Job Description

A rapidly growing organization in the logistics and services sector is seeking an experienced Vice President of Marketing (Transportation, Logistics, and Supply Chain Services) to lead the strategic development and execution of marketing and digital communication initiatives. This individual will guide a dynamic marketing team, overseeing branding, content creation, lead generation, sales enablement materials, digital strategy, PR, and external communications across multiple channels.

The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in marketing services and content creation, with a proven ability to generate qualified leads that drive measurable business growth. Experience working in a service-based industry or marketing/advertising agency is strongly preferred. This role requires close collaboration with senior leadership to shape the company’s marketing vision and deliver long-term impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Champion the organization’s brand across all channels, ensuring consistent messaging and strong market presence.
  • Lead the development of creative marketing strategies, with a focus on original content and storytelling that supports sales efforts and brand differentiation.
  • Collaborate with sales and business leaders to identify growth opportunities and align campaigns with strategic goals.
  • Oversee the production of sales and marketing assets such as presentations, case studies, one-pagers, and thought leadership.
  • Manage digital presence, including corporate website, SEO/SEM performance, and all social media channels.
  • Drive participation in trade shows, public relations, and industry events to boost visibility and generate leads.
  • Lead market research efforts to inform campaign targeting in key verticals.
  • Develop and manage the marketing budget, optimize resource allocation, and ensure ROI across campaigns.
  • Lead post-acquisition brand transitions and integration.
  • Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing marketing team (5–7 team members).
  • Establish and track KPIs to measure marketing effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.
  • Negotiate with and manage third-party vendors and agencies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in marketing leadership roles, with a focus on strategy and execution.
  • Proven track record of generating qualified leads and enabling sales success through integrated marketing efforts.
  • Previous experience in a service-oriented industry or agency environment is strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated success leading and developing teams.
  • Strong digital acumen, including SEO/SEM, website optimization, and social media.
  • Excellent project management and communication skills.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Strategic thinker capable of making data-driven decisions and aligning marketing with business objectives.
  • Experience leading organizational change and managing cross-functional initiatives.
  • Ability to travel up to 25%.
