Tipsy Putt is California's premier indoor mini golf pub! We're growing rapidly and looking for an experienced VP to lead our marketing program. Tipsy Putt is a unique drinkertainment restaurant with multiple locations throughout Northern California. We offer a rotating selection of local beers, wines, cocktails, indoor mini golf, and various pub games, creating a lively atmosphere. We aim to be a positive community contributor by supporting local brewers, small businesses, and charities. About this role : This role involves overseeing operations at multiple locations, with occasional travel across Northern California. Experience and Credentials : Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in Accounting and Finance. Bachelor's Degree in Accounting; an MBA is advantageous if it complements a strong accounting foundation. At least 3 years in Big 4 or reputable CPA firm audit roles. Experience as a Controller or Head of Finance in a company with at least $20 million revenue. Hands-on experience as an Accountant, Accounting Manager, or Controller. Strong knowledge of accrual accounting, GAAP, and tax accounting principles. Experience managing accounting in multiple LLC structures and multi-location operations. Deep understanding of accounting operations, reconciliations, and balance sheet substantiation. Proficiency in cash management, billing, collections, leases, debt, A/R, A/P, and payroll processing. Business planning experience, including budgeting, strategic planning, and economic modeling. Experience with inventory management, costing, and leasehold improvements. Job function : This is a hands-on position, either supervising or directly managing all accounting and reporting tasks. Determine optimal organizational structure for finance and accounting, considering outsourcing options. Maintain accurate, reconciled, GAAP-compliant books each month. Close books within 10 days; provide revenue reports by day 4. Ensure all financial transactions are recorded and reconciled regularly. Maintain documentation for all reconciliations and backups. Prepare semi-annual budgets and monthly forecasts, with variance analysis shared with management. Develop key metrics and dashboards, especially for each location's P&L. Manage payroll, cash disbursements, receipts, and daily sales. Assist with equity investments, debt arrangements, and board reporting. Handle ad-hoc requests from the CEO or management team.
