AERMOR is seeking a Mid-Level Web Developer to design, code, and document applications for scientific systems and commercial projects. The ideal candidate will support web architecture, design, and development for both internal and external Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City Division (NSWC PCD) web pages. In addition to standard web development responsibilities, this role will involve the integration and support of AI-based tools and services within the IT and web development domain in alignment with U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

 

• Design and develop NSWC PCD internal and external web pages, ensuring functionality and usability.
• Implement additional enhancements, capabilities, and features to improve user experience.
• Maintain web page content, update contributors on submission standards, and ensure compliance with best practices.
• Conduct routine website maintenance, including removal of stale pages and fixing faulty URLs.
• Provide general knowledge and support for AI-based tools and services available for U.S. DoD use.
• Support all aspects of AI implementation in IT and web development processes.
• Work with SharePoint development using the SharePoint Object Model (2007 or 2010).
• Develop .NET-based solutions for SharePoint Web Parts.
• Provide ADO.NET SQL Server development support.
• Utilize JavaScript, HTML, Web Services, and Web Publishing for web development.
• Ensure web solutions align with Web Design Principles and modern development standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

 

• Must have 3+ years of experience and SEC+ certification or equivalent.
• Proficiency in C# and VB programming languages.
• Experience with SharePoint Designer and Site Collection Administrator Certification.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong knowledge of Integrated Development Environments (IDEs).
• Familiarity with AI tools and services applicable to DoD IT environments.
• Knowledge of structured web development processes and modern AI-enhanced web applications.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with AI-driven web development tools.
• Prior experience supporting government or military web development initiatives.
• Understanding of machine learning frameworks and AI integration with web technologies.
